How does HeartHealing™ work?

HeartHealing™ hypnotherapy works by using hypnosis, where the mind is relaxed and more suggestible and open to change. It combines a variety of therapeutic tools to get to the core issue and then rewires and upgrades the subconscious mind, so you are free of the limiting beliefs, it's amazing and the results speak for themselves! 


A session can uncover beliefs you weren't even aware of, limiting beliefs you don't want to be controlled by and they can be replaced with empowering, liberating beliefs that will support you with anything you want to achieve. You can transform and overcome about any life issue you can think of with lasting and life changing results. It is simple, effective & well proven and gets results. In the majority of cases one session is enough, with more challenging issues several sessions will resolve the issue.

How long does a 1:1 session last?

A session is between 60 minutes and 90 minutes long. Session are available in my therapy room in Maroubra Sydney, Australia or can be done online via zoom from anywhere in the world. Online sessions are just as powerful as face to face. Each session is followed up with txt and email support and soul centred conscious coaching to align with the subconscious shifts. I create a personalised recording with all your goals, desires and new habits you would like to create to listen for the next month, as this is where you are rewiring the new empowering beliefs. One of the rules of the mind is 'The mind learns by repetition".


A session is 60 percent of the work and listening to the personalised recording and embracing the conscious coaching is the other 40 percent of the work. To experience lasting change you need to commit to listening to the recording daily for the following month after the session and commit to your coaching calls.

How will I feel during hypnosis and after?

Hypnosis can be seen as meditation with a goal in mind, focussing on a specific outcome. It is a natural state of relaxation that you experience daily, in fact every morning and night as you drift in and out of sleep you experience hypnosis, so it will be very much a familiar feeling. Whenever you have found yourself drifting away in a ‘day dream’ state where you are not fully present, you are in alpha brain wave just as you are in hypnosis.


Hypnosis is about being relaxed and be open to suggest-ability, and in order to re-wire the brain with empowering beliefs, it must be in a suggestible relaxed state. You will be aware of everything throughout the session and chat with me throughout. You may feel comfortably relaxed or relax deeply either way hypnotherapy works in any relaxed state and everyone is different.


After your session you may feel relaxed, you may feel tired, you may feel energised, again everyone is different. You may be excited to talk about your experience, or become reflective. Whatever your experience you will have a much better understanding of yourself and the meaning you have taken from situations in life and feel empowered.

What if I can't be Hypnotised?

You can. Everyone can. As long as you are willing to create change you will experience hypnosis. It's easy and a relaxing process, where you are in control the whole time.

Are results guaranteed?

No professional therapist will guarantee results because nothing is 100%. In Transformational Hypnotherapy there are elements that require the client to be active in their healing and be open and committed to transformation, and committed to listening to their personal recording and coaching for the following 30 days, these are all key to transformation and lasting change.


The process of transformation and change happens uniquely for everyone, just like all modalities. Some people experience shifts in session, some experience shifts in the weeks that follow and others have incremental shifts over time. At the end of your program we chat together to see where you are at. I connect in the next month to see the shifts you are experiencing and to follow up on any other shifts you may want to experience.

How is HeartHealing™ different to counselling?

With Counselling and seeing a psychologist you generally have regular sessions for an ongoing period of time working with your conscious mind and these sessions can go on for months, often years. Transformational Hypnotherapy is not a traditional talk therapy, we spend very little time talking about how you currently feel and focus time on getting to the root of the problem, working with subconscious mind. So usually between one to three sessions is what is required for transformation to take place.


The key to HeartHealing™ getting results is that we work with the subconscious mind that holds all our beliefs and emotions and nearly all our habits and behaviours, since birth. In a session we focus on undoing the original limiting beliefs, meanings and the emotional charges that are stored in the subconscious mind. Counselling and coaching work focus on the conscious mind. Hypnosis works because you are in a relaxed and safe place where you can rewire change, because you're not in survival mode and not in your conscious mind.

Can I get stuck in Hypnosis?

No. You have complete control the whole session. You can talk and adjust your body and are fully in control of what you are saying. If our online session gets disconnected you may drift into sleep if you’re really relaxed, but eventually you’ll notice that you’re not hearing my voice and open your eyes. I will then reconnect our session and will put you back into the same relaxed state you were and the session can continue.

I am afraid to look back at my past?

If sessions you will review aspects of your past, but you are never re-living anything, you are simply reviewing it, and that you are totally safe. 


I support you and create a safe space for you to express emotions and thoughts that are causing you to stay stuck in patterns that are holding you back, releasing these is the key to rapid freedom. This is why HeartHealing™ is so transformational. In your session we are able to get to the core issue straight off and review and gain understanding why you've been experiencing the life stressors and then you release those stuck emotions, its a powerful process that can give you freedom for the very first time.

When will I experience changes?

There are 3 types of change from hypnotherapy and every person is different:

* Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away - immediate changes in your thoughts and behaviours right in the session and afterwards.


* Incremental: You see consistent shifts over a period of time.


* Retroactive: You don’t see the shifts right away and then one day you suddenly look back and see all of the things that are different in your life or maybe someone shares with you how much you've changed and it sinks in, yes you really have transformed!


At the end of the month we spend time reviewing the month and decide if there are any further sessions required. We usually allow a month to lapse after your first session. If there are any particular goals that you want to achieve you can book a block of 6 week Soul Centred Conscious Coaching to work on your goals and continue to experience change. Remember it's all about what you're willing to commit to and I am here to support that commitment and transformation. 

Are our sessions confidential?

Absolutely. All sessions are completely confidential. I would never share any personal information without your consent. The only time information is shared, is if you are at risk to self or others and I will talk to you about this. 

Are online session as effective as face-to-face?

Online sessions are facilitated over zoom and are equally as effective as face-to-face sessions. Zoom is a free platform that I send you a link to. Many people prefer online sessions as you don't need to travel and can relax in the comfort of your own home.

How many sessions do I need?

Each session is designed to work on an aspect of yourself that you would like improvement on. Many conditions have existed for years and years and caused a great deal of problems, so may need another session. Most times one session is all that is needed, combined with the commitment to listening to the recording for the following month and coaching calls.


We will discuss your issues and goals prior to the session. Long term depression and anxiety, some weight issues and other long term auto immune illnesses are examples of some conditions that will most likely require several sessions.


If you have several areas that you want to work on, you decide which is the most important one to work on first, as only one issue can be worked on in each session.
